The little things

Her wrinkled little feet are my favorite. Oh wait...maybe her little lips. Maybe her hands. Maybe everything about her. I didn't even know babies could be this perfect.

She's here!

She was 8 days late, but she's here, happy, and healthy!! And I couldn't be more in love with her if I tried.

Baby Samuel

I met my friend Ashley when she was in law school. She was young and single and living life. Now she's an attorney with a full time job, married, a homeowner, and now she has a little tiny baby to call her own. Samuel was exactly one week old when I got to meet him and he is an angel baby. He had an epic pee episode all over his mom and the blankets so after that we didn't dare take his diaper off again. And it's a good thing because shortly after there was definitely some baby poop making it's appearance. All the little things like that make new born pictures fun. Here are a couple of my favorites.

Baby Turk

The only thing sweeter than newborns is newborn baby girls in homemade white dresses. How sweet is this little thing. Had fun capturing this sweet little angel baby.

The Duchess

This sweet baby was born at 32 weeks and spent way too long in the NICU. She is home now and happy and healthy and beautiful. I had so much fun shooting her pictures because her mom is one of my best friends so my kids were playing while we hung around waiting for the perfect shot (which was about 3 hours into it when she finally settled into a deep sleep). Love this baby girl and I'm excited to see where her little life takes her. She's a fighter that's for sure! And she's a duchess so you know she's going places.

There is nothing sweeter than taking pictures for your friends! I met this family when the oldest was almost 2 and my friend was pregnant with baby #2. Now here they are with four of the sweetest little tykes around.

Baby Whitney

My dear friend Rachel had sweet baby Whitney before her oldest turned three. That's three under three, or in other words a lot of diapers, bottles, and tears (mostly from the mom). I was so excited to take baby Whitney's pictures. I didn't necessarily get a great photo of the three of them but these kids have so much personality they didn't want to sit still for any pictures. Congrats on the baby Rachel! She's perfect!

I have been practicing taking pictures for friends lately and I have been having a lot of fun. I took these today at my house for my neighbor. The little baby is 5 days old and was perfect the entire time.
